El Tajín Archaeological World Heritage Site & the Papantla Voladores

One Day Tour to Explore an Important México Ancient Ruins Site

The archoeological ruins of El Tajín found in northern Veracruz is one of two recognized World Heritage Sites in this Mexican state. The Totonacan people built over 150 structures including 17 ball courts (more than any other Mesoamerican site) and flourished here between 800 and 1150 AD. On of the more famous structures built is called the Pyramid of the Niches. About 50% of the structures have been unearthed and are partially or fully restored.

It's been a great day. I saw all the wonderful buildings, learned a lot of history, and also about the ancient Mexican culture.
